Why email consistency is key for success!

When I get a call from a potential new client or am conducting a strategy session, I ask how often they send emails. The answers range from daily, weekly, monthly, and when I have time.

The "when I have time" is a problem for marketing, and trust me, I completely get it as I, too, sometimes struggle with consistency in sending a newsletter or posting on social media. I intend to be consistent, but then I get busy with client work or life.

When you aren't consistent, you are allowing your competition to win (assuming they are being consistent). I see this all the time with brands I love. 

Tips for staying consistent

  • Come up with a plan that includes sending at least once a month. However, I do recommend weekly and segmenting your list.

  • Develop a content calendar. If you don't have one, reach out, and I would be happy to send you ours.

  • Develop a manageable template. Simple is great! I highly recommend BeePro if you want to reuse saved modules.

  • Stick with it! If you forget one time, just get back to being consistent the following week or month.
